The CW Aims to Level Up With Gamer Comedy Dead Pixels

Though it originally aired last year in the UK, The CW's Dead Pixels may have the perfect premise for our socially-distanced times. The six-part series focuses on three friends who spend their days hunkered down under their home headsets, obsessively playing a medieval-themed massively multiplayer online role-playing game. Also today: Jill Biden and Bill Clinton headline Day 2 of the virtual DNC, America's Got Talent soldiers on without Simon Cowell, and Hard Knocks: LA returns to training camp with the Rams and the Chargers. Here's what's new and noteworthy on TV this Tuesday:

SERIES PREMIERE: The trio of online gamers at the heart of Dead Pixels find the insular balance of their group in peril after Meg (Alexa Davies) invites her new office mate Russell (David Mumeni) on an online gaming date. Primetimer's Joe Reid has the 411 on the new series. 8:00 PM ET on The CW

LIVE COVERAGE: In a return engagement for the "explainer-in-chief," President Bill Clinton takes the virtual stage for Day 2 of the Democratic National Convention.
