FRIDAY JULY 9

Black Widow: Following the events of Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) finds herself on the run, but she can’t avoid her past for long. Fear Street Part 2: 1978: Original film. The Netflix film trilogy shifts its setting to 1978, where a Shadyside resident is suddenly possessed with the urge to kill, wreaking havoc on the summer fun at Camp Nightwing. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

Leverage: Redemption: Series return. A group of reformed criminals — played by original stars Aldis Hodge, Christian Kane, and Gina Bellman, and Beth Riesgraf — help ordinary people fight back against corporate and governmental injustice in this Leverage continuation. The Snoopy Show: New episodes. Snoopy, Woodstock, and the rest of the Peanuts gang return for new adventures in Part 2 of the family-friendly cartoon. Streaming on Apple TV+

Virgin River: Complete third season. Alexandra Breckenridge, Martin Henderson, and Tim Matheson return for a new batch of episodes that find the residents of Virgin River facing all sorts of troubles, from fires and custody battles to (uh oh) breakups. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

How to Become a Tyrant: Complete first season. Peter Dinklage narrates this sardonic docuseries that provides aspiring dictators with a playbook for acquiring absolute power. Streaming on Netflix

The Patrick Star Show: Series premiere. A younger Patrick Star (voiced by Billy Fagerbakke) hosts a variety show from his bedroom in this new SpongeBob SquarePants spinoff series. Watch trailer. 7:00 PM ET on Nickelodeon

The Middlemost Post: Series premiere. Nick’s night of new animation continues with this series about a former rain cloud, a brawny mailman, and their magical pet walrus as they deliver packages to the inhabitants of Mount Middlemost. Watch trailer. 7:30 PM ET on Nickelodeon

Secret Celebrity Renovation: Series premiere. Celebrities show their gratitude to someone who helped guide them to success by gifting them with a surprise home renovation. The premiere features comedian Wayne Brady, while Paula Abdul, Boomer Esiason, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Chris Paul guest in future episodes. 8:00 PM ET on CBS

SATURDAY JULY 10

Judas and the Black Messiah: Premium cable premiere. Warner Bros.' acclaimed biopic makes its way to HBO proper six months after its brief tenure in theaters and on HBO Max. Daniel Kaluuya won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his performance as Fred Hampton, chairman of the Black Panther Party in late-1960s Chicago, while Lakeith Stanfield was nominated for the role of Bill O'Neal, a petty criminal who is assigned by the FBI to infiltrate Hampton's chapter. The White Lotus: Series premiere. A new wave of guests arrives at Hawaiian resort the White Lotus, creating headaches for manager Armond (Murray Bartlett) and spa director Belinda (Natasha Rothwell). Created by Mike White (Enlightened), the new limited series overflows with star power, with Connie Britton, Steve Zahn, and Jennifer Coolidge all stepping up to play self-important resort guests. The Real Housewives of Potomac: Season premiere.
