Drake dropped his new single, What Did I Miss?, in a surprise live stream on Friday, July 4, 2025, evening. The single from his upcoming album, Iceman, is reportedly about betrayal in friendship and his public feud with Kendrick Lamar.

According to the Hindustan Times' July 5, 2025, report, the live stream, which is now private, showed the rapper driving around Toronto in a van, with Iceman merch and logos surrounding him. There was also a glimpse of the-iceman.com website and a phone number, although both are currently unavailable.

Drake's first single from his upcoming album is about his former friendships that "switched" on him and supported his "hater," seemingly referring to Kendrick Lamar. He also stated in his song that people supposedly asked him how he felt about Lamar's diss tracks, and Drake shared that the same people were standing beside him at the beginning.

"You switched on the guys and supported a hater / Let's go / What's a get back for n****s? It's TBD / I look at this sh*t like a BTC, could be down this week, then I'm up next week / I don't give a f**k if you love me, I don't give a f**k if you like me / Askin' me "How did it feel?" Can't say it didn't surprise me / Last time I looked to my right, you n****s was standing beside me," Drake rapped.

Drake again hinted at Kendrick Lamar as he brought up the rapper's Pop Out concert, which was held in Los Angeles on 2024 Juneteenth (June 19, 2024).

Lamar performed his diss track Not Like Us five times at the show, while Graham's former friends, NBA players DeMar DeRozan and LeBron James, were in attendance. In his latest track, Drake called his former friends a "d**k-riding gang."

"I'm back in your city tonight, walkin' around with my head high / I saw bro at The Pop Out with them but been d**k riding gang since 'Headlines,'" he rapped.

The single is now available on the rapper's YouTube channel, as well as on streaming platforms. The X page NFR Podcast reuploaded the song on the social media app.

Drake recently hinted that Iceman would be released this year

On June 28, 2025, Graham posted an Instagram story featuring a piece of wood carved with the inscription "Iceman 2025, Snow Owl Ranch." Although it is uncertain what Snow Owl Ranch means, it is clear that the solo album is scheduled for release this year.

According to Capital Xtra's June 11, 2025, report, the rapper is regularly dropping hints on his second Instagram account, @plottttwistttttt. The media outlet reported that Graham posted Central Cee's picture on his story before quickly deleting it. He has also posted a photo of Sabrina Carpenter from the 2025 Met Gala. It is unclear whether the two artists will feature on Iceman or not.

British rapper Central Cee has previously collaborated with Graham on his 2023 track, On the Radar Freestyle. In an interview with FunX in January 2025, Central Cee confirmed that he had collaborated with the Hotline Bling rapper, and it is yet to be released.
