Beyonce and Jay-Z shared a kiss while performing during her Cowboy Carter concert at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Pictures of the kiss were shared on X by the user Pop Base.
While some netizens seemingly supported the PDA, others found it "performative." Some netizens shaded Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender.
For the unversed, the two singers' fans started feuding when earlier this month, Nicki Minaj claimed Jay-Z reportedly owed her over $100 million.
One user (@AwanHarkness) mockingly said the couple were seemingly shading Minaj and her husband by kissing onstage.
"I feel like this is a Nicki shade EEEEWWWW," they wrote.

Some netizens seemingly appreciated the couple showing affection on stage. One user (@arianaunext) called out others who were "hypothesizing" the moment, seemingly referring to the Barbz.
"They kissed, and suddenly everyone's relationship felt like a situationship," one netizen wrote.
"The way this is just a cute kiss between a gorgeous, talented married couple and #that fandom in the replies hypothesizing it has anything to do with their delusional fav," another netizen wrote.
"This is a first. They always look like they in a parade. Wonder what changed. Hope Bey is happy deep in her heart," another X user added.
Some netizens claimed the couple seemingly looked awkward while doing PDA.
One user (@BEYONCESDAWTA) mockingly said not every singer can welcome their husband on a sold-out stadium stage, supposedly hinting at Nicki Minaj and her husband.
"Because they were awkward af the last time they performed together... Always putting on a show," one netizen commented.
"She said 'Welcome my husband to the stage' see everybody can't welcome their husband to a soldout stadium stage," another X user wrote.
"Jay-Z really said, 'Let's give 'em a show, habibi.' Beyoncé was NOT ready for that level of PDA on stage," another user added.
On July 9, 2025, Nicki Minaj tweeted that the rapper owed her an amount between $100 million and $200 million. She stated that Jay-Z was still in her top five people.
However, he needed to pay off the alleged debt as it was collecting interest.
"We've calculated about 100-200MM so far. #JayZ call me to settle this karmic debt. It's only collecting more interest. You still in my TOP 5 tho. Let's get it ni**a. And anyone still calling him Hov will answer to God for the blasphemy," she wrote.

According to NME's July 11, 2025, report, the debt is supposedly from Jay-Z's music streaming app, Tidal. In 2015, Nicki Minaj was offered three percent equity in the platform.
But she was given $1 million when the app was sold to X's co-founder, Jack Dorsey, in 2021. Dorsey bought the platform for $297 million.
The rapper has not publicly responded to Minaj's tweet.
In other news, Jay-Z's legal team is trying to dismiss Rymir Satterthwaite's lawsuit, as the 32-year-old demanded a paternity test and claimed he is the rapper's illegitimate son.
