The photo shows Goldie wearing a white onesie with her name stitched on it and a comfy gray cardigan. Rupert also thanked his wife's OBGYN, Dr. Alex Digesu, in the post recognizing their help during the pregnancy. Rupert and Georgia had kept quiet about expecting their second child, which surprised fans and news outlets alike.

Rupert Grint talks about his daughter Wednesday and her unique name

Wednesday G. Grint, the couple's first child, was born in 2020. A few months after her arrival, Rupert posted the news of Wednesday's birth on Instagram for the first time. In just over four hours, Rupert became the fastest person to reach one million followers on the platform, setting a new record for the impact of that post.

Rupert has kept his family life private for the most part, but he has talked about his experiences as a father on occasion. In 2022, Rupert talked about his happiness as a father and the meaning behind his daughter's unusual name when he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He acknowledged that the character from The Addams Family had inspired the name Wednesday.

"I'm always hesitant to say it was [inspired by] The Addams Family," the actor said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, "but, it was."

    Jimmy Fallon told the actor,

"Now you have this beautiful baby and one day you're gonna show her these movies one day and say, ‘That's daddy!'

    Rupert replied,

"I've already started showing her the trailers. She has a wand and a PEZ dispenser with my head on it."

Rupert also explained that the middle initial was a tribute to iconic figures like Samuel L. Jackson and Michael J. Fox, who are known for their distinctive initials.

In a lighter moment, Rupert talked about his early interactions with his daughter, Wednesday, and how she unintentionally picked up a few choice words while accompanying him in his dressing room. He humorously mentioned that while Wednesday has learned to say "mama" and "dada," she had also quickly picked up the F-word, which she now uses in moments of excitement.

Rupert's decision to keep much of his personal life private hasn’t stopped him from sharing snippets of his fatherhood journey. With the arrival of his second daughter, fans are no doubt eager to hear more about his growing family and the joys of parenting.
