Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches gets an AMC series order

Mayfair Witches, based on Rice's Lives of Mayfair Witches series, marks her second AMC series after Interview With the Vampire. The eight-episode Mayfair Witches, which is expected to premiere in late 2022 after Interview With the Vampire's first season, "will focus on an intuitive young neurosurgeon who discovers that she is the unlikely heir to a family of witches," per TVLine. "As she grapples with her newfound powers, she must contend with a sinister presence that has haunted her family for generations."
