Daughter of MTV alum Tabitha Soren and author Michael Lewis dies in car crash

Dixie Lewis, 19, a Pomona College student who graduated from Berkeley High School in 2020, died in a head-on collision on a Northern California highway near Lake Tahoe on Tuesday. She was traveling with her boyfriend and fellow Berkeley High alum Ross Schultz. Dixie Lewis was one of three children of former MTV News political correspondent Soren and Lewis, the author of books-turned-movies The Big Short, The Blind Side and Moneyball. Soren and Lewis have been married since 1997.
