Ritter says she's ready to move on from her cynical private investigator role following Netflix's cancelation of Marvel's Jessica Jones after three seasons. “Do I think I’ll play her again? I don’t think so,” Ritter tells TVLine when asked about a potential revival. “I feel like I’ve played her, you know? I feel really good about it. I feel good about closing the door.” Ritter wouldn't be able to reprise her Jessica Jones role on any non-Netflix series until at least 2021, thanks to a clause in Marvel's deal with the streaming service. Jessica Jones creator Melissa Rosenberg had previously signaled that she, too, felt Jessica Jones didn't need a revival. “I feel like this is a really complete, closed chapter,” Rosenberg said of a potential revival. “I mean, never say never. But I feel ready to tell all new stories.”
