Mad About You shuts down production as Helen Hunt recuperates from her car accident

Hunt has been resting at home and needs more time to recover after the SUV she was riding in Wednesday turned over after being sideswiped, resulting in a brief hospitalization. Deadline reports the Mad About You reboot was able to do pre-production work on Thursday, but opted to cancel production today. Producers will evaluate the situation on Monday. Mad About You is currently production its seventh episode.
