CBS News is committing to O'Donnell a month after a New York Post report of internal unhappiness with her. Variety reports O’Donnell disclosed her new contract Friday evening while having a toast with some producers at CBS News’ Washington, D.C. O'Donnell's new contract will keep her at the CBS Evening News anchor desk through the 2024 presidential election.
