Tim Allen acknowledges there were Home Improvement reboot talks before Fox's Last Man Standing deal came together

"All of us got together...is it relevant? Is Tim Taylor relevant?" Allen told E! News. "Everybody talked about it and then boom, this thing came together," he said of Fox picking up Last Man Standing. "I said, I like this show. I want to finish what we started."
