Netflix has released the trailer for Halftime, a new documentary offering a behind the scenes look at Jennifer Lopez's life and career.
The trailer features key moments from J.Lo's life over the past few years, including her 2020 Super Bowl Halftime show, her performance at the Presidential inauguration, and a peek into her family life. We also see some of the more emotional moments of the superstar's career, as she explains what it's like to live in the public eye. Fiancé Ben Affleck even makes an appearance as he discusses Lopez's ability to handle intense scrutiny.
"I just had a very low self esteem," Lopez says in a more emotional moment from the trailer. "I had to really figure out who I was and believe in that and not believe anything else."
In another moment, Lopez struggles to bring her Halftime show vision to life. "I'm trying to give you something with substance," she says. "Not just us out there shaking our fucking asses. I want something real."
Halftime makes its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival June 8 before premiering on Netflix June 14.
