The cast of Agatha: Coven of Chaos continues to grow.
Broadway icon Patti Lupone has joined the cast of the WandaVision spin-off in a mystery role. She has recently been seen in TV series including American Horror Story, Pose, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Girls, and Penny Dreadful.
Marvel/Disney+ series Agatha: Coven of Chaos will see Kathryn Hahn reprise her villainous WandaVision role Agatha Harkness, and Emma Caulfield Ford (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) will also return as Dottie. Heartstopper breakout Joe Locke was cast as the show's male lead opposite Hahn, while The White Lotus star Aubrey Plaza also recently joined the cast in an unspecified role.
WandaVision introduced viewers to Agatha as neighbor to Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) before revealing she was a powerful Salem witch with a hidden agenda. The last time Agatha was seen in the series, Wanda defeated her and trapped her in Westview, bound to her nosy neighbor persona. WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer will once again assume showrunner and head writer duties for Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
A release date for Agatha: Coven of Chaos has not been announced yet.
WandaVision is streaming on Disney+.
