Did someone say "Throwback Thursday?" On Thursday morning, the co-hosts spent far too long relitigating the 2016 election during a Hot Topic about Hillary Clinton's new MasterClass on resilience. Joy Behar, who admitted she's "still not over" Clinton's loss, was particularly upset, and she vented her frustration by repeating talking points from October 2016 about then-FBI director James Comey's "email B.S." and Trump's "destructive behavior." As if we needed any more proof that The View remains stuck in the past...
The View's discussion of Clinton's MasterClass went exactly how you'd expect, with each of the co-hosts taking turns to praise her for reading the speech she would have read if she'd won the 2016 election. "I think it's historical," said guest co-host Ana Navarro. "I hope this speech is available for little girls and little boys in schools. I hope it's available in history books. I hope it's available in the Smithsonian. Because there will be a woman president, and that woman president is going to be standing on the shoulders of Hillary Clinton."
Navarro's remark summed up the tone at the table, with the exception of Behar, who seemed eager to get into the weeds about the election. "I'm personally still not over it, frankly," she said, noting that Clinton won the popular vote by about 3 million. "To think of where this country would be now if she had won, and not that snake oil salesman that we got in this country — four years of destructive behavior. It makes me sick."
"I'm furious!" continued Behar. "I'm angry with the Supreme Court. I'm angry with Trumpers. I'm angry with non-vaxxers. I'm furious with everybody this week. Merry Christmas!"

When Sunny Hostin noted that the tone of Clinton's would-be acceptance speech was at odds with Trump's emphasis on the "apocalypse" and "carnage," Behar chimed in, once again. "I can't stand that he said the word 'country,'" she said, after Hostin read a few lines from Trump's speech. "'Our country,' I hate when he says that."
"And you know what? As soon as Comey came out with that email B.S., her numbers dropped," she continued. "These men are all out to get her!"
