With both Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin out, Ana Navarro made the most of her unexpected appearance on The View when she coined a new nickname for Rep. Barry Loudermilk, who gave a detailed tour of the Capitol complex the day before the January 6 insurrection. Despite troubling footage released by the January 6 committee that shows tour participants taking photos of hallways and stairwells inside the Capitol, Loudermilk has denied any wrongdoing, prompting Navarro to call him out. "Loudermilk should be called 'Lying Butter,'" said the guest co-host, earning a round of applause from the audience.
"I've been in the Capitol a bunch of times. I've got to tell you, I've never seen people take pictures of the magnetometer, or the hallway, or the staircases," said Navarro. "The bottom line is this: it should be so troubling to all of us just how far the tentacles of January 6 extend. Into the Supreme Court, into the White House, into the Capitol, into Congress."
"They had inside help! They were there casing the place out," she added of Loudermilk's tour group, one member of which marched on the Capitol building and made threats against Speaker Nancy Pelosi the following day. "You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that. You can see it plainly."
Joy Behar then took issue with Loudermilk's shifting story about the tour, which indicates "he's full of it," she said. "Which is it, Louder-face?" said Behar, after detailing the many iterations of Loudermilk's account.

"That's the problem. The truth doesn't morph like that, so you know he's lying," replied Sunny Hostin. She went on to say that Loudermilk "has refused to testify in front of the committee, but he's testifying on Fox News" and continuing to change his story. "I agree, Ana, shouldn't we be really concerned about the fact that he is relying on these different versions?" she said.
A few minutes later, Behar addressed Hostin's concerns about Loudermilk only appearing on Fox News — and repeated Navarro's nickname. "People who watch Fox, do you ever think to yourself, 'Gee, I wonder why this Loudermilk' — or what do you call him? Lying Butter — 'I wonder why this Lying Butter doesn't appear on The View or on CNN or on any other channel? Or in front of the committee?'" she said.
"And why do all these people keep saying, 'I'm not going to honor the subpoena?'" Behar continued. "Are you guilty, is that why? Why do you have to take the fifth? Same reason. Pay attention."
