After a lackluster debut appearance on The View, guest co-host S.E. Cupp proved her conservative bona fides Wednesday morning when she accused Sen. Elizabeth Warren and other Democratic leaders of doing little to prevent Trump's resurgence in 2024. Cupp implied that Democrats owe Republicans who voted for Biden a thank you, and she demanded that Warren reveal what Democrats are doing to "neutralize Trump," such as lawsuits related to his finances or prosecutions of top-level officials. "It is real!" yelled Cupp. "Tell me you get this, as Democrats!"
Warren opened her appearance on The View with a 10-minute plug for President Biden's Build Back Better agenda, but things eventually came back around to Trump after the commercial break. "A lot of people helped Biden get elected. Women, women of color, for sure Black women," said Cupp. "Also women like me: Republican voters who voted for the first time in their lives for a Democrat because Trump was so awful. So, more than his agenda, I voted for him to neutralize Trump, once and for all."
"I worry that in this zeal to move past Donald Trump and pretend he's gone, Democrats are ignoring the threat at our doorstep," she continued. "Our democracy hangs in the balance as he spreads the Big Lie, and spreads restrictive voting rights through the GOP and states all over the country. Aren't you worried that he can still win in 2024 and do it all again?"
"Poo poo, don't even say it!" said Behar, before Warren could answer. "But that's the problem!" replied Cupp. "That is the problem! 'Don't even go there!' It is real!"
Asked by @secupp on what Democrats are doing to prevent former Pres. Trump from a possible 2024 presidential win, Sen. @ewarren says Congress “must pass the laws to protect the vote.”

As Warren assured Cupp that "it is real," the guest co-host urged her to divulge Democrats' plan to stop Trump. "Tell me what you guys are doing!" said Cupp. "Where are the prosecutions?!"
"This is what I get at three in the morning, when my eyes go, 'Bong, he's back,'" said Warren, in an attempt to lighten the mood. "That's why we must, must, must pass the laws to protect the vote."
When Behar said that Cupp should be posing her question to her "team" rather than Warren ("The Republican Party needs to step up and be honest!" said Behar), Cupp recoiled. "Do you have any faith that the Republican Party as it is currently known is going to step up and be honest?!" said the CNN commentator. "I don't either, it's why I've left! But they are still doing the criming. They're still doing the stuff that got us in trouble in the first place, and there's been no way to pull the reins."
