The longtime moderator wasn't interested in Alyssa Farah Griffin's defense of the GOP.

Thursday morning on The View, Whoopi Goldberg came armed with a message to Republicans criticizing President Biden's response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. While prominent Republicans, including Rep. Kevin McCarthy and Sen. Ted Cruz, have insisted Biden is "resigned to failure to Putin's winning," the longtime moderator pointed out that these same politicians turned a blind eye when Donald Trump withheld aid to Ukraine in hopes of getting information about Hunter Biden in 2019. "Where were y'all?!" asked Whoopi. "I don't remember you giving a good blessed [fuck]."

After playing a montage of Republicans calling out Biden's "delayed" response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Whoopi let her frustration out. "I'm sorry, where were all these Republicans when the former guy in office was holding money hostage, saying, 'We're not going to give you the money until you give me the information about [Hunter] Biden,'" she said. "I don't remember them being concerned at all that there was an issue, particularly when the current president of Ukraine said, 'Listen, we need this! We need to be able to defend ourselves!' And he dangled!"

Guest co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin was first to respond. "Whoopi, let me tell you where I was," she said. "I was at the United States Department of Defense, and we were working around the clock to get this aid released to Ukraine."

"Why was he holding it up?" fired back Whoopi. "I think that that's a question that was covered in impeachment," replied Griffin. "And I think a lot of folks are looking back on the first impeachment and saying, 'Hey, I should've voted differently."

After Ana Navarro listed the many problematic things Trump did to trigger his impeachment, Griffin encouraged the panel to move on. "I want to be abundantly clear though. Donald Trump is not president anymore," said the ex-Trump aide. "We have a humanitarian crisis. We have a war taking place —"

"I'm sorry, you cannot stand up and say hey, 'This guy's not doing his job!'" interrupted Whoopi. "What I'm taking offense at is the fact that these people are suddenly all concerned now about what's happening!"

The discussion concluded with Sunny Hostin noting that Griffin's call for Biden to send military aid to Ukraine doesn't seem popular with her party. "Last Thursday, 31 Republicans voted against providing military aid to Ukraine," she said. "This is a lot of posturing by the Republican Party, and I think it's despicable and I think it's disgusting, and I don't think you should defend it."
